WITHIN months of realigning its mesh products, Peart Fencing has added some significant designs to their MasterView range of mesh systems, seeing them as essential elements in winning a greater share of the market.
Linear, the latest edition to the MasterView collection is viewed as the most important of a trio of systems, with its design giving it a vertical striped effect. It is aimed at both the commercial and industrial sectors.
‘We have been looking to add Linear to the line up for some time,’ said Marcus Mitchinson, sales and marketing manager for the Hartlepool based manufacturer. ‘It is an essential part of our strategy to grow our mesh sales and it is representative of our determination to ensure that we have a range of mesh systems that are best suited to the market.’
Linear, which is part of the MasterView range launched some five years ago, is being produced in 3-metre wide panels.
‘The market has moved towards larger panels and therefore we have configured Linear to conform to that. It makes it highly competitive, cutting installation costs by 18 per cent in what is a very price sensitive sector,’ said Mitchinson.
Linear is being made available as a finished powder coated product with any colour available to order.
‘Stocks will be predominantly green, but we do have the facility to offer a quick turnaround on almost any colour, as we do with all our systems’ he said.
Also being added to the mesh range is a newly designed MasterView Twin, with a mesh aperture size of 200mm x 50mm. The twin panels remain 2.5-metres wide.
MasterView Profile has also undergone a facelift and is now being offered as a 3 metre wide panel, making it the most cost effective in the MasterView range.
A fourth product, MasterView 358 is a maximum security mesh, which is set to be launched by the end of April 2008. Also coming scheduled for introduction later this year is MasterView Sports, a range of high-performance sports court systems.
‘Discussions within the market have shown that we need all five products within the range in what is the fastest growing sector of fencing. Mesh has become more and more popular and we have seen considerable growth in mesh sales,’ he said, ‘and we see that as continuing.’
As well as intensive market research conducted by the company, grass roots feedback has been communicated via The Contractors Club.
Peart Fencing has recently appointed primary members within all 12 regions of the UK and although The Contractors Club is still recruiting, the membership of each region will be limited to ensure benefits remain exclusive.
‘It is developing well indeed and we are very much in touch with the contracting market. As contractors enjoy the benefits in full, we consolidate our position as The Contractors Choice’
The range of Peart Fencing systems include MasterView, PeartRailings, PeartPalisade and PeartPedestrian Barriers.
